Xwrap CemiRepair is a fast-hardening thixotropic repair mixture with compensated shrinkage, containing polymer fiber, designed for the repair of concrete and reinforced concrete structures. Xwrap CemiRepair meets the requirements for repair mortars stated in GOST 56378-2015 "Materials and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures. Requirements for repair mixtures and adhesive joints of the contact area during the restoration of structures" Xwrap CemiRepair is a ready-to-use dry mix material based on high-strength cement, fractionated sand and a special additive, containing polymer fibre. When mixed with water, it forms a non-exfoliating mortar mixture with thixotropic properties, which allows it to be used on vertical and ceiling surfaces without formwork. It is a high-strength mortar resistant to abrasion, has high adhesion to steel and concrete, has a high rate of frost resistance and water resistance. The maximum fraction of the aggregate is 3 mm. Application thickness is from 10 to 70 mm.
Application domain • Repair of prefabricated and monolithic reinforced concrete structures of bridges and viaducts (structural restoration of bridge floor slabs, columns, bridge supports, beams, etc.); • Repair of concrete surfaces of tunnels, canals and reinforced concrete structures of ports and sea zones, hydraulic structures damaged as a result of corrosion of reinforcement; • Repair of industrial concrete floors, floors in shopping centers and warehouses; • Repair of reinforced concrete products and structures for general construction and special purposes, including those in contact with drinking water (drinking water tanks); • Repair of vertical and ceiling surfaces without formwork; • Repair of smoke line liners; • Repair of the protective layer of concrete, damaged sections of reinforced concrete structures (corners, columns, beams, balcony edges, lintels) destroyed as a result of corrosion of reinforcement; • Leveling the surface of walls made of monolithic concrete in tunnels.
Substrate preparation The edges of the defective area should be contoured with a diamond blade perpendicular to the surface to a depth of at least 10 mm. Select concrete from the defective area to a depth of at least 10 mm, using a light perforator. The walls of the site should be vertical, and the base should be smooth and rough. For good adhesion on the concrete surface, it is necessary to create a roughness of at least 5 mm. For perfect cleaning of dirt and dust from the surface of the site, it is recommended to use compressed air and pressurized water. Cleaning the reinforcement from rust should be carried out with a metal brush manually or mechanized using a sandblasting unit, depending on the volume of the surface to be treated. When the reinforcement is completely exposed, the gap between the surface and the reinforcement should be at least 20 mm. The base should be moist, but not wet.
