Xwrap CemiFlow 200

Xwrap CemiFlow 200 is a non-shrinking, fast-hardening self-leveling repair mixture containing polymer fiber, designed for the repair of concrete and reinforced concrete structures.

Xwrap CemiFlow 200 is a ready-to-use dry mix material based on high-strength cement, fractionated sand and a special additive, containing polymer fibre. When mixed with water, it forms a non-delamination concrete mixture with high fluidity, which allows it to be used by pouring into the formwork. It is a high-strength concrete resistant to abrasion, has high adhesion to steel and concrete, has a high rate of frost resistance and water resistance. The maximum fraction of the aggregate is 10 mm. The thickness of application in one layer is from 40 to 100 (200*) mm (when applying a mixture with a thickness of more than 100 mm and with a large area of work, it is recommended to consult with the Technical Support Department of Composite LLC in advance).

Xwrap CemiFlow 200 meets the requirements for class R4 repair mortars stated in GOST 56378-2015 "Materials and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures. Requirements for repair mixtures and adhesive joints of the contact area during the restoration of structures"

Application domain

Xwrap CemiFlow 200 is designed for repair and restoration of structures where the depth and nature of damage require the use of high-flow compounds:

• repair of concrete pavements of roads, airfields, parking areas and bridges;

• repair of industrial concrete floors, floors in shopping centers and warehouses;

• repair of reinforced concrete structures (including pre-stressed), bridge supports, beams, bridge slabs operating under the influence of static and moderate dynamic loads;

• waterproofing of joints of prefabricated reinforced concrete structures (supports, concrete slabs, etc.);

• Filling of rigid joints between reinforced concrete elements.

Substrate preparation

The edges of the defective area should be contoured with a diamond disc perpendicular to the surface to a depth of at least 40 mm. Select concrete from the defective area to a depth of at least 40 mm, using a light perforator, needle gun. The walls of the site should be vertical, and the base should be smooth and rough. For good adhesion on the concrete surface, it is necessary to create roughness, with depressions of at least 5 mm. For perfect cleaning of dirt and dust from the surface of the site, it is recommended to use compressed air from the compressor and pressurized water from the water jet system.

Fittings must be cleaned of rust. Cleaning can be done manually with a metal brush or mechanized with a sandblasting machine. If the reinforcement is completely exposed, the gap between the surface and the reinforcement should be at least 30 mm. The base should be moist, but not wet. Excess water is removed using a sponge or compressed air.

The formwork must be made of durable waterproof material, securely fastened, be airtight, exclude the leakage of cement milk, withstand the pressure of the mixture during pouring, leveling and completion of work. If the formwork is made of ordinary material (wood), then before pouring, it must be soaked in water to prevent dehydration of the mixture.

Preparation of the solution

To mix a small amount of the mixture, it is allowed to use a low-speed drill with a paddle attachment. In this case, stirring is carried out for 5-6 minutes until a mixture of homogeneous consistency is obtained, after which a pause is held for 1 minute and stirring again for 2-3 minutes.

Manual mixing of the mixture is not allowed, as a larger amount of water will be required, which will lead to the loss of the declared indicators and the formation of shrinkage cracks.

For the correct preparation of the repair mixture, you should:

• immediately before mixing, open the required number of bags;

• pour a minimum amount of water into the mixer (at the rate of 2.15 liters of water per 25 kg of Xwrap CemiFlow 200 dry mixture or 8.5 parts of water per 100 parts of the mixture);

• turn on the mixer and continuously fill the Xwrap CemiFlow 200;

• stir for 1-2 minutes until the lumps disappear and the mixture becomes homogeneous;

• stop the faucet for 1 minute, clean the walls of the faucet from adhering residues of dry mix;

• If necessary, add water (within the permissible amount), turn on the mixer and mix again for 2-3 minutes, until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
